The verb 'should' is not used while asking questions since should is used a modal verb--which does not change its form with first, second or third person nouns or pronouns--used sparingly almost in imperative sentences and in sentences that suggestive of advice.

Oddly enough, to come up with your own original style of writing, you should study other people's writing. And practice. A lot.

First someone would want to come up with an idea. After the idea is formed, create an outline of how the book should be laid out and flow. Dedicate some time to writing every day. Set realistic goals and deadlines to be able to stay on task.
