Are Benjamin and Crosman the same?

At one time Sheridan, Benjamin and Crosman were three different air gun companies. Benjamin bought out Sheridan but continued to make rifles under the Sheridan name. A few years later, in the 70's, Crosman bought out Benjamin but kept the name's on the Benjamin and Sheridan models. So Yes Crosman, Benjamin and Sheridan are the same company but non of the models are crossovers. Except one.. Here is an interesting fact. Benjamin makes a model 392 and 397 that look exactly like a Sheridan C9 Blue streak. The only difference is the Benjamin's are made in .22 and .177 caliber and the Sheridan is only made in .20 cal. Just the caliber is different.

What is the difference between the Benjamin Sheridan 397 and the Crosman Benjamin 397?

Nothing. Crosman owns both Benjamin and Sheridan. In truth there is only a Benjamin 397. Early on a few were marked Benjamin Sheridan. Here's why: Originally all 3 companies were separate air gun manufactures. Benjamin bought outSheridan and continued with the line of airguns some were marked Benjamin Sheridan. Then later in the 1990's Crosman bought out Benjamin, and kept all 3 names. Crosman decided to make Benjamin's in .177 and .22 caliber and Sheridan in 20 caliber only. They also continued on with there own line of Crosman air guns/rifles. Confusing enough..

Do they make the Benjamin Sheridan 22 cal or 25 cal pellet guns yet?

Benjamin Sheridan makes both .22 and .25 caliber pellet guns. ----------------------Corrected answer---------------------------------- Crosman air gun company owns both the Benjamin and Sheridan line of air guns and rifles. The Benjamin rifles models are made in .177, .22 and .25 caliber. The Sheridan line is only made in .20 caliber. The name "Benjamin Sheridan" is no longer placed on any one model. In the past Benjamin did make a 20 .cal pellet gun Benjamin also makes a .357 caliber model named the Rogue.

Who manufactures Benjamin 5 MM air rifle when first manufactured?

OKAY Follow me on this: Originally Benjamin, Sheridan and Crosman were three different air gun manufactures. Benjamin started operation around 1899. In 1923 Crosman started into operation. Around 1945 Sheridan went into operation. In 1977 Benjamin bought Sheridan. In 1992 Crosman bought both companies but continued to keep the same names in production. All Benjamin's are either .177 or .22 Caliber and Sheridan's are .20 Caliber. Sheridan's and Benjamin's both have the same look and feel. It is easy to confuse them.
