OKAY Follow me on this:

Originally Benjamin, Sheridan and Crosman were three different air gun manufactures. Benjamin started operation around 1899.

In 1923 Crosman started into operation.

Around 1945 Sheridan went into operation.

In 1977 Benjamin bought Sheridan.

In 1992 Crosman bought both companies but continued to keep the same names in production. All Benjamin's are either .177 or .22 Caliber and Sheridan's are .20 Caliber.

Sheridan's and Benjamin's both have the same look and feel. It is easy to confuse them.
