The Holy Spirit of God fell upon the Apostles and those gathered there after Peter spoke to them to repent (Acts 2:38-39). Some have dated this 1st Pentecost to have occurred on Sunday, June 17th, 31 AD.

Most all Christian sects will agree that Pentecost is a Sunday. It means 50th or 50 days after the Resurrection of Jesus. What most never consider is that 50 is 7x7 days plus 1. Therefore the Resurrection had to be one day before this 50th day of Pentecost, Sunday. That would make it a Saturday which is correct.
