Ford replaced the 6.0L with the 6.4L in 2008, now the 6.4L has been replaced with the 6.7L for the 2011 model year. Each engine had newer technology such as more accurate fuel injection timing and less emissions. The 6.7 is one of cleanest and quietest running diesels I've ever seen, as well as being more powerful than the 6.4L
