When did God create the devil?

Technicaly God didnt make the devil, God created Lucifer, and Lucifer corrupted himself making himself into a devil.

But Lucifer would have been created at the same time as the rest of the angels. I have no idea when the angels were created, Day 2 maybe? Certianly, if we want to be litteral with Genisis 1 and 2, it would have to be before the creation of humanity, other wise we couldent be tricked. On the otherhand, it could not be before the creation of the universe, as heaven did not exist then either (by biblical account). So biblical litteracy - between day 2 and 5. Non-litteral interpretation, who knows! lets say before the dawn of man.

God created angels and super-angels, or archangels, and the most powerful one of them all was Lucifer. He and a third of the angels rebelled against God, so were thrown out of heaven. Their nature changed and therefore so did their names. Lucifer's name was changed to Satan/Destroyer/Devil etc and his angels became demons. Everything God originally created was good: He did not create Evil, but just because some of the angels decided to go that way doesn't mean that God directly created the Devil and his demons. If some don't believe the devil and his demons are real then he has won, but the problem of the existence of evil must be explained. Just as parents can do everything right and yet still have a kid go 'off the rails', so it is with God and Lucifer.

If the devil and his demons are real and if God created everything, then God did indeed create the devil and his demons. It is all a matter of what you believe in.
