Structured days, strict routines, lots of sports, and a strong sense of brotherhood. You learned independence early, competed hard, got yelled at sometimes, laughed a lot, and made friends for life. It wasn’t easy or cushy, but it shaped confidence, discipline, and character in a way day schools usually don’t.
Tough, memorable, and honestly… pretty awesome in hindsight.

Yes, Indian kids had an education. After they were forced onto a reservation they were sent to Indian boarding schools.
Some of them do go to the boarding schools, yes, but like, I don't know, like 90-95% go to a "normal" school. One Finnish boarding school is Anna Tapio boarding school.
