Yes Iver Johnson did make 410 shot guns, I own 2 break open 410 shot guns both made by Iver Johnson.
Actually, it was Johnson and Bye, the fore-runner of the Iver Johnson companies, 1871-1883.
They do not make a nine shot pistol made by Iver Johnson. These pistols were available in the 1940s.
An Iver Jonson WHAT??? They made rifles, handguns and shotguns. A serial number alone tells us nothing. We need make, model and condition.
I can find no '65A' but they did make a 55A, eight shot revolver from 1961-1978. Value of the 55A, depending on condition, would be $95-$225. Later models had 'Iver Johnson Sportsman' on it.
Is there any value in a a Iver Johnson 22LR made in West Germany that on the barrel where the Co. stamped in the make and model of the weapon they left out the L when they where discribibe the word 22 long rifle
Yes they did make them, around 1930. I own two Iver Johnson SS shotguns with raised ribs, a 410 & a 12ga.
Value of any gun is based on make, model and CONDITION- which you did not give us. Value could be anywhere from $25 to $250.
You need to be more specific ie model caliber and all marks as has been said in previous questions and answers. To help identify the model try going to Google and entering Iver Johnson You will find several FAQ pages and they will help you in making an model id a previous answer said there were a million 38s made between 1897 and 1908 so all the info you can provide will make the answer more accurate Another source of information on this firearm (and most other Iver Johnson firearms) is the book by W.E. This model was made for Iver Johnson by ERMA Werke in Germany and imported from 1988-1990. I know of no source for that magazine, however, we can MAKE one if given the proper dimensions. sales@countrygunsmith.net
There were several different Iver Johnson models. The basic single shot utility grade is about $75, but other models may be worth more. You really need a hands on appraisal. Value is based on EXACT make, model, and condition.
