no, they do not, nor do they believe in celebrating birthdays either, nor Easter, nor Halloween etc...etc...
We wear any color we like. We always make sure our clothes is clean and neat and appropiate. Using good judgement. The clothes does not have to be new or the latest fashion. It has to be decent and always representative our god Jehovah.
There is no such thing. A wittness is only a witness, they do not mix religons. The Old Testament names Yahweh and Elohim are sometimes combined to form Jehovah as a sign of respect, because God's name is too precious to be used lightly. Many Church names and hymns will contain Jehovah in titles or lyrics. This falls in line with not using the LORD's name in vain for many people and congregational members. This use of Jehovah isn't to be confused with the theology of a Jehovah's Witness.
They can't date a non- Jehovah Wittness. It's not a matter of age, in general Jehovah's Witnesses do not date or marry people that are not of their faith. A minor child under the legal guard of an adult would of course be subject to their wishes. An adult is free to date at they chose but most Jehovah's Witnesses chose to respect the bible mandate to seek a partner who is a fellow worshipper of Jehovah.
As a Jehovah's witness I try to walk in Jesus' steps, because as it is confirmed in John 14: 6 in these words. " I am zhe way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." Jesus is the way because it is only through him that it is possible to approach God in prayer. he is also "the way" for humans to be reconciled to god. Read John 16: 23; Romans 5: 8. Jesus is the life because by means of the ransom, he made it possible for mankind to gain the real life, " that is, " everlasting life." Read 1 Timothy 6: 12, 19; Ephesians 1: 7; 1 John 1: 7. Every Jehovah's witness is devoted to Jehovah and Jesus Christ. If people want to consider our devotion to Jehovah as a cult, they are free to do so.
