It is a North Carolina deduction and means "North Carolina Married Withholding." How disgusting is that?! My family loses $150 to it a month... I TEACH for the state, for a community college, and they only GIVE me 3 times that per class - then they TAKE that FROM me for being married. Sheesh... I couldn't even find out what it mean until today. I guess we all better check what the State is taking from us before we put any more of the slickers in office - huh? Apparently it IS expensive to MAKE money - AND to be married!
To teach within the public school system, you will still have to secure a state teacher certification within the state you intend to teach.

Blackbeard was a who not a what. The infamous Blackbeard was Edward Teach, a pirate who terrorized the Caribbean from 1716 to 22 November 1718. During this two year stretch, Teach captured and renamed a French merchant ship and renamed her Queen Anne's Revenge. With his ships and crews he sacked shipping throughout the Caribbean and the southern portion of the American eastern seaboard. After blockading and ransoming Charleston, South Carolina, Teach ran the Revenge aground off the coast of north Carolina and settled in Bath Town. For a short time after receiving a royal pardon, Teach settled into life on land. Only for a short time. Eventually, Teach went back to piracy, but was hunted down by Lieutenant Robert Maynard at the behest of Virginia Governor Alexander Spotswood, whose men cornered Teach and his men, killing Teach in the battle of 22 November 1718.
