Papaleaiaina is the name which the French navigator Eric de Bisschop uses for the woman whom he met in Honolulu in 1936 and who was to become his wife ; she was hawaian (polynesian) for a quarter, supposedly of royal ascent ; her true name was Constance Constable (later Constance de Bisschop).
