Rosa Parks stood up to a white on the bus and wouldnt give up her seat to a white.
she felt that is was not right that blacks had to stand on the bus while moveing and face a death in case the bus had a crashed
Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat after a white female complained about Rosa being in "her" seat. This, being against the law at the time, sent Rosa Parks to jail.

Rosa Parks was an African American civil rights activist. She was asked to stand up when a white person wanted her seat on the bus. She refused to do so , and was arrested for not giving up her seat.
The Rosa Parks bus boycott sparked off a revolution in the anti-racism movement. She inspired many coloured people to stand up for their rights which has improved increasingly since. Hope this helped.
