Eventually, he went to London. However, we do not know much about the period of Shakespeare's life between his leaving Stratford and being a successful playwright and actor in London. He may have gone somewhere else in the meantime.

Shakespeare's children were born in 1583 and 1585. There is no record of Shakespeare in London until 1592. Scholars speculate that he went to London between 1590 and 1591.
He went to the city of London and avoided prosecution.
i have no freaking clue! go find out somewhere else! you fat lard.
We have no reason to believe that Shakespeare ever went anywhere except Stratford and London and the places in between. It is of course possible that he may have travelled during his lost years 1585-1592, but we would have no idea where.
We do not have much information to go by in order to answer this question. The fact that Shakespeare spent two decades living in London while his wife and children lived in Stratford must have meant that his contact with his family was sporadic at best.
He had no accomodation in London for a wife and children. However, his brother Edmund did follow in his footsteps and became an actor and moved to London.
