I'm Owen K. Laurion. I was a student at Ockley Green Elementary School in Portland, OR from grades K(1955) thru 8 (1963). Some time a few years after I graduated, it become a middle school, and in 2005 was converted back in to a K-8 elementary school As for the name, all I was ever able to find out was that Mr. Ockley Green had been Superintendent of Schools in Portland in the early 1900s.
