Fabius Claudius Gordianus Fulgentius also known as Saint Fulgentius of Ruspe was declared a saint by the local Chrisitan community shortly after his death on January 1, 533. The official canonization process was not instituted until about the 12th century.

Pius XI is not yet a canonized saint.
There were a couple St. Oswalds, you need to be more specific.
St. Patrick did not aspire to become a saint. He simply tried to do the will of God in the best way possible and that led to him being declared a saint.
