Switzerland has not joined in the UN and it is only an observer country.

Appart from having 'co-headquarters' of the UN in Geneva Switzerland has been a member of most UN suborganisations (and their mainsponsor!) for a long time. The country has joined the UN in 2002.

Switzerland is a member of the United Nationsnow, they joined in 2002 =) . Although they are strongly committed to being a neutral country, they still play a major part in maintaining peace in the UN.
