It depends on which it is and what engine. The old X3 I never liked. The xDrive system was average, it was ugly and for a reasonably big car, not a lot of space inside. The ride was also appalling, totally unacceptable for BMW. The new 2010 BMW X3 however is absolutely fantastic! I went out in the 20d xDrive and it was mighty impressive! The engine was refined, smooth, quick and quiet!! All current BMW engines are very good apart from the 16i and 18i. The Six Cylinders should be superb when they are available later next year for the X3. It is a great looking car, the interior quality is top notch and there is loads of space! The xDrive system is also awesome! It pukes all over Audi's Q5 Quattro!
