∙ 14y agoThe traditional answer is that all dinosaurs disappeared from the fossil record 65.5 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous Period.
However the similarities in the morphology of birds and avian dinosaurs has lead to many scientists considering birds to be modern day dinosaurs. In this case they have not yet disappeared from the fossil record.
