How does the work of volcanogist save lives?

Answer this questions, what do they do? -They study a volcano's activity, its physical, everything about that volcano -this gives volcanologists information about where and how volcanoes are likely to erupt in this way they are able to warn the people that live in those area when a volcano is about to errupt, They get evacuated, away from that area other wise if they dont then they would die and lose their lives for not knowing the eruption first hand

What is the difference between a tiltometer and a seismometer?

A tiltometer measures the bulging of a volcano, which is how much the volcano is 'growing' wider and wider due to the magma chamber within a volcano filling with magma, if the tiltometer is reading that the volcano is bulging massively then this could be because it is about to errupt so it can be used to predict volcanic eruptions. A seismometer on the other hand measure tremors before an eruption due to magma movement and it can be used to predict earthquakes due to foreshocks.

Where were the most recently formed crust of the earth be found?

At the mid-ocean ridges where sea floor spreading occurs. The two plates separate and molten rock (basaltic magma) comes up from the mantle to "fill the gap" and creates new crust (oceanic lithosphere)

Where in the world do volcanos form?

Volcanoes form where there is a large channel in the Earths crust that allows magma from the core to make its way towards the surface. Eventually over time, pressure will build due to the flow of the magma. When this happens, it will errupt causing tremendous upward pressure and release of gasses and lava. The lava will build up over time and form the common "cone" shape. There are other types of volcanoes though which are so large they are more like a massive opening in the crust than the traditional cone shaped volcano.
