When the government and it representatives no longer do the will of the prople , and depart from the Constitution so far as to become nearly unrecognizable. This should be done thru the ballot box, peaceful, lawful demonstration, and contacting your local officials.Violence is NOT an option. It is wrong, and will only give the government the excuse they need to limit our freedoms evn more.

According to Jefferson and Locke when the people find that the government no longer works for them. The thing is that when Jefferson wrote this is was living in the world of monarchy not a world of people who are able to decide what their government looked like. It was truly an revolutionary thought. Today, we have to rethink this statement since for 200 years the people of the United States have been able to vote. The sad thing is that 42% of the eligible voters don't vote and are giving away the right to decide what type of government they want.
