When did riverside school of aeronautics in Utica NY close and why?

I graduated from Riverside School of Aeronautics in July 1990. At that time they were moving to another location. I don't think they lasted more than a year or so at that location. Not sure of an accurate reason. Rumors at the time of legal problems.
I was a student at the time of it's closure. Riverside was shut down by the FAA for violating it's mandatory curriculum standards as well as other shady business practices. The family transferred assets to their son who then opened Pompano Academy of Aeronautics which also was shut down by the FAA for the same reasons.
In the end the Department of Education forgave most of us our student loans and we were able to start fresh elsewhere.

The school closed after I had to drop out in about 1991-92 due to being a victim of a crime caused by a student that was attending the school under his brothers name and Social Security Number! He and some girl out of Indiana that stalked me to the school stole my car, that took a week to find, that I had to recover out of a drug ally, that when it was found was ran down, tools and all other items were stolen! I return home to handle the problem of the nut female, and when I was ready to return to the school, and tried to call to let them know I found that it had been ordered by the government to close due to fraud! The department of education told me that I would not have to worry about repaying the loan and it would be forgiven sense I was a victim of a crime, and the school had committed crimes of fraud them self's and the school was shut down! Now here it is decades later and the loan is still on my credit report preventing me from obtaining a loan for a home or any other credit!
