Shakespeare never owned a theatre outright. He was always a partner, although his percentage changed as the other partners bought in and out. He first invested in the Globe Theatre when it was built out of materials from the Theatre in 1599.

Yes! He left Stratford because he was bothered by the government and stayed with a friend at first because he did not have enough money. Later, after he earned some money by writing plays, he invested in a house for 140 euros. It was a gate house right next to Blackfriars theater.
