It depends which country you refer to. As far as I am aware the UK has not had a 2 note.
A whole note, its 1+1+2 basically, and if you are playing in 4/4 it equals a whole note which lasts the whole measure.
A whole note is worth 4 beats, a half note is worth 2 beats, a quarter note is worth 1 beat, an eighth note is worth 1/2 a beat, a sixteenth note is worth 1/4 of a beat, a dotted half note is worth 3 beats, and a dotted quarter note is worth 1 and a 1/2 beats.
A dot that follows a note adds 1/2 of the value of that note. Where a quarter note would be worth 1 beat in 4/4 time, a dotted quarter note would be worth 1 1/2 beets. A dotted half note in the same time signature would go from 2 beets, to 3. (adding 1/2 of the value of a half note) A dotted eighth note would be 1/8 plus 1/16 added to it and gives the rhythm a swing feel.
No I dont think so. When I looked up the size of the Note 2 and the Note 1, the Note 2 is like .2 bigger than the Note 1. I've been having troubles finding a case for the Note 1 so I was just going to buy a case for the other one but they say its longer. I wouldn't trust it!
1 and a half: Quarter note is a crotchet=1 beat Dot is half of the note value it stands next to so the dot = 1/2 And so 1 + 1/2 = 1 1/2 = 1 and a half Thanks

1) its actually, how many BEATS in and 8th and whole note. 2) there are 4 beats in a whole note 3) there is 1/2 a beat in an eighth note
Please consider the below allocation as a answer: 20 20 20 20 5 5 5 2 2 1
Italian American Semi breve Whole note Minim 1/2 note Crotchet 1/4 note Quaver 1/8 note semi quaver 1/16 note :) semi demi quaver 1/36 note
A dotted half note will always get three beats because a dote adds half the value of the note to the note. So a half note = 2 beats, 1/2 of 2 = 1, so 2+1=3. If you are in 4/4, it equals three beats. If you are in3/4, it equals three. 2/4 and 2/2 cannot have a dotted half note because the value is too big. In 6/8, the value changes because the eighth note gets the beat instead of the quarter note. So then the dotted half note would get 6 beats, instead f three because everything is basically doubled. Hope that helps!!
The Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and Galaxy Note 2 have been phased out because they were replaced with the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be released in the Fall of 2014.
A dotted note means that you play that note for 1- 1/2 more time than that same note without the dot would be played.
