I don't understand what you mean. the Celts are oringinated in the centre of Europe so they never came to Europe becaus they originated there. after that the spread trough all of Europe and to Britain.
I have to assume that you are an English person. From your little island you tried to rape the entire world.
Look you, to your history in South Africa where you introduced internment without trial which you practised everywhere (including but not exclusively Ireland) until it was used by your fellow conspiritor the USA in Guantanamo Bay. Then you sanctimoniously condemned the practice.
Look again how you bought the Provisional IRA and set their leaders up in fabulously well-paid jobs while the people that spilt their blood for Irish freedom were openly ignored.
These are Celtic tactics and they are very effective.
In short the British use Celtic tactics when it preserves their pay packet and prospects: the result of Celtic influence.
The recent DNA studies of Britain and Ireland have revealed that the Celtic-speaking lands as well as parts of England have little connection with the Celts of Central Europe. This, along with the lack of physical evidence of invasion, have called into question the Celtic invasion of the Isles. See S. Oppenheimer.
They didnt leave, even though a few moved to Ireland as there was Importing and Exporting between them. The Romans decided they wanted to kill all the druids, and it seems all the other Celts with them! Ireland has more celt decendants than any other country in the world, some being able to trace their decendants back right.
It is not known. The Celtic settlements in Britain go back to pre-history and Archaeology had not given a definite picture. It is also likely that the Celts migrated in waves, rather than invade. The monolithic stones at Stonehenge have been dated to 3,100 BC. The Mainland Island of the Orkney Islands, off the northern coast of Scotland was one of the earliest settlements. The oldest archaeological finds there are dated to 3,500 BC.
The first Celts came to Britain between 800 to 700bc
