Mintage of the dime was commissioned by the Coinage Act of 1792, and production began in 1796
No one appears on the back of a dime, but on currently circulating dimes, Franklin D. Roosevelt appears on the front.
All circulating dimes dated 1965 and later are made of copper-nickel, not silver.
All circulating dimes dated 1965 and later are made of copper-nickel and are only worth face value. The only circulating dimes that contain silver are dated 1964 and earlier.
1964 was the last year for a 90% silver dime. No circulating coin was pure silver.
It's worth exactly 10 cents; the US stopped using silver in circulating dimes in 1964.

I assume you mean the "tail" (reverse side) of the dime and not the "tale" (story) of the dime. The currently circulating U.S. dime has an olive branch, a torch, and an oak branch on the reverse side.
If you got in circulation no. The last circulating silver dime were made in 1964. If it is part of a silver proof set yes. These are never found in circulation and always have the S mintmark.

Theodore Roosevelt hasn't been featured on any circulating US coins despite his strong interest in coinage issues. The Roosevelt who appears on the dime is FranklinRoosevelt, president from 1933 to 1945.
Dimes minted from 1892 to 1916 were designed by Charles Barber, not George Morgan. Morgan never designed any circulating US dimes. Please determine your coin's date, then look for questions worded "What is the value of a (date) US dime?" e.g. What is the value of an 1887 US dime?
That would be worth a lot being that they didn't start making them till 1916. A 1901 dime would be a Barber dime . Please see the question "What is the value of a 1901 US dime?" for more information.
There never was an Eisenhower dime. The dime the US Mint was producing in 1964 was the Roosevelt Dime, so named in honor of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Dwight D. Eisenhower did not appear on any US coins until 1971, and at that time his likeness appeared on the One Dollar coin. It was the first time that a One Dollar coin had been minted since 1935. Additionally, Dwight Eisenhower was alive in 1964 so his portrait could not appear on a circulating coin with that date since living persons cannot appear on circulating US coins. If you have a circulated Roosevelt dime with that date, as of 08/2009 it's worth about $1.06 for the silver it contains. Uncirculated coins command higher values.
