I am not sure.. but what thing that I know is it will be like same.. but South Korea is invented lots of weapons and North Korea they shoot the missile or rocket from the earth so i think that it will be similar each otherAnswer:Comparing the military strength of North an South Korea is not a simple matter of counting the bodies in uniform. South Korea has a military of about 700 000 troops with a US contingent of about 40 000. North Korea's army is over a million. The South's air force is slightly bigger, its navy and army slightly smaller. The North has, in recent times made its nuclear and missile capacity well known. General opinion is, however, that the South's more modern equipment and technology gives it an advantage.
The UN security council voted to help South Korea resist the North Korean invasion. The US was one of the members of that council. It also had the largest army, navy and air force.
North Korea had been urged into invading South Korea by Soviet's (Russia's) Joseph Stalin. Stalin supplied MIG-15 jet fighters, T-34 tanks, and tons of Soviet Artillery and small arms, along with ammunition and fuel for the war machines. Korea has been "NOT BLESSED" by being geographically located between warring nations nearly all of it's existence; China, Russia, and Japan. Again, due to Korea's location, the conflicts involving those countries have led to easy access by outside nations such as Germany, France, or the United States, due to Korea being a peninsula, thus allowing ANY nation to reach Korea by SEA. If Korea had been a "Land Locked Country", any fighting would be RESTRICTED to the surrounding nations. But the peninsula of Korea is open to any nation with a navy. Korea was a colony of Japan prior to WW2. WW2 brought the Soviets into war with Japan which involved Korea. Japan's defeat in WW2 enabled the Soviets (Russians) to occupy NORTH KOREA; while the US/Allies preserved South Korea. When Joseph Stalin died in 1953, the Korean War ended by Armistice (in 1953).
Fortunately Korea was located on a Peninsula, and with the United States having the most powerful Navy in the World at that time; it was easy for the US to "isolate" the war to Korea itself, and control the enemy infiltration from North Korea into South Korea. The Vietnam War demonstrated what can happen when enemy supply lines CANNOT be cut or controlled (Ho Chi Minh Trail).

South Korea's ship was bombed by North Korea. There was proof under the sea of the bomb and we now it's North Korea because in 1965 South Korea found a full piece bomb and the people in South Korea said it was the same.

The North had a well-organized navy, while the South had no navy and few good ports.

The U.S. Navy communications/surveillance ship USSPueblo (AGER-2), was captured by North Korea in January 1968 in what has become known as the Pueblo Incident.

The United States Navy has no bases, stations, or schools in the People's Republic Of China. The closet locations are based in Japan and the Republic of Korea (i.e. South Korea).
The United States isn't necessarily "afraid" of North Korea.North Korea considers itself to still technically be at war with the US even though the Korean War ended 60 years ago. North Korea still has a massive military (their army is one of the largest in the world), and has access to nuclear weapons. Additionally, they are closely aligned with China, a country rivaling the US in sheer military and economic power. However, North Korea has no way of really directly attacking the US on their own; they only have a small navy, and their air force is no significant threat to the US's massive air forces. Rocket tests have shown that North Korea is probably not capable of hitting the US mainland with nuclear or chemical weapons.North Korea is, however, a threat to South Korea and Japan, who are close allies of the US; since the Korean War ended, North Korea has made it clear that it intends to conquer South Korea someday. Hatred of the South and the US is one of the ways the North's government keeps their people under control- they focus hatred towards those countries, so the people forget that their life in the North isn't actually very good. In keeping with this theme, the North often threatens to attack the South, Japan or the US and sometimes does actually attack the South (for example, in November 2010 they launched an artillery strike against a small island off the coast of South Korea and killed/wounded a few people). So it's not so much that US is "afraid" of North Korea, it's that North Korea is sometimes erratic, often throwing out threats of extreme violence for the smallest reason- or no reason at all.Answer 2The United States has concerns against North Korea mainly for two reasons: North Korea has the atomic bomb and the means of conveying it to the USNorth Korea threatens the US allies in the region; mainly Japan and South Korea.
