Just as the dawn was breaking.
The Captain looked behind him and was astonished that he'd managed to come through that huge icefield unscathed. He said that only divine intervention could have saved his ship, and he became fanatically religious for the rest of his life.

Carbon Copy People in that field will get an exact copy of the E-Mail you sent. The basic difference between "To" and "CC" is that people in to are the people who the E-Mail is for, "CC" are people who should just get informed to just know about it but the message is not directed to them. "BCC" means Blind Carbon Copy people in that field will not be visible to the other recipients they won't now to who else you sent the message + the other people (people in the fields "To" and "CC") won't know that you put any people in BCC.

To - is the person to whom the letter oe email is written. Cc - are other people you are sending the letter or email to for their information only - the term comes form the time when people used mechanical typewriters to write letters and the top copy (the to copy) went to the person you were writing to and the Carbon Copies (Cc) were for the files and for sending to other people that needed to know.
CC = Carbon Copy BCC = Bind Carbon Copy The BCC means that the others on the message TO and CC lines won't know you sent it to the people on the BCC line. CC just means that you want to send a copy to that person - it's nearly identical to the TO line.
"CC" stands for "carbon copy," which simply means the person or people to which the memorandum is being sent a copy. Typically, there is the main person or people to which the memo is addressed (TO:) and then copies can be sent to others.
"CC" stands for "Carbon Copy." When you see "CC" in a signature block, it means that the email or letter is being sent to other people besides the main recipient. For example, if you send an email to your boss and "CC" your colleague, your colleague will also get a copy of the email.
