I live in Gloucester And my house got flooded a bit and it was because of the drains were blocked up and i thibk that was the main reason : )
The Gloucestershire floods of 2007 were caused by a period of exceptionally heavy rainfall in July of that year. The region experienced more than double its average rainfall for the month leading to flooding in many areas. The floods were caused by a number of factors including: A low-pressure weather system that brought heavy downpours. The fact that the area had already experienced above-average rainfall in the weeks preceding the floods. The geography of the area with rivers running through narrow valleys increasing the speed of the water and making flooding more likely. All of these factors combined to create a perfect storm which caused extensive flooding in Gloucestershire resulting in significant damage to property and infrastructure and sadly the loss of life.
Nobody died in the flood as there was much help involved
None but a lot of them end in -Shire (like Worcestershire and Gloucestershire) but not -Nish.
a floods ends by when it stops raining and the rivers dry up
