The big red spot came from the crater's who hit this planet
Probably the one that hit on 15th October 1987 - in which 18 people were killed. It was made famous by BBC weather presenter Michael Fish - who stated in his broadcast "...earlier today a woman phoned the BBC and asked if there was a hurricane coming. Well - don't worry, there isn't..." - A few hours later, the storm hit the UK !
When the great depression hit Britain, its economy flopped badly because they had no money to manufacture any more iron, steel, textile, etc. The value of pounds dropped that it wasnt worth the price of gold anymore. The economy of Britain couldnt lend out loans to other countries anymore and they couldnt continue their trade with their main trader Germany.
They are not common in Great Britain and the rest of Europe, but they do occur. A tornado in Birmingham, England in July of 2005 destroyed a row of houses, but did not result in any fatalities.

Bananas infact. There was a great storm that had cuased destruction everywhere. One thing that was blown off the tress were bananas. There were so many that infact killed many soldiers. The wind of the storm had blown them dangerously and the speed that the bananas were coming at hit and injured many.
