Well in man, anaerobic respiration takes place during glycolysis. Glycolysis is the process by which one molecule of glucose is broken down, in the abscence of oxygen, to give energy. During glycolysis, only 2ATPs(Adenosine TriPhosphates) are given off. This means that anaerobic respiration in man does not give off much energy. meanwhile aerobic respiration which takes place during the Kreb Cycle gives off 38 ATPs, meaning that in the prescence of Oxygen, more energy is released. As far as i know there is nothing called anerobic mammals. There are many anaerobic chemical processes in all mammals.Aerobe and anaerobe classification of organism is restricted to microbes, mainly bacteria.
Anaerobic respiration occurs in the absence of oxygen. In animals, it is referred to as lactic acid fermentation and causes the build up of lactic acid.
Humans use anaerobic respiration when they are sprinting or jogging for a long time
Plants use them when their root is waterlogged causing them to run out of O2
no
yes
Diplomonads and parabasalids are two groups that have adapted to anaerobic conditions.
enzyme synthesis
True
No,head contain nucleus and lysosome. The mid part contain mitochondria.
Yes. From our lectures, it was discussed that the first true cells were protozoans that lives anaerobically. Oxygen is literally a poison to them.
Diplomonads and parabasalids are two groups that have adapted to anaerobic conditions.
That would be the mitochondria and chloroplasts.
enzyme synthesis
Because mitochondria are used for oxidative phosphorylation, which doesn't occur in anaerobic respiration
True
Anaerobic Respiration occurs only in the absence of Oxygen.
Because the cytoplasm region of the cell doesn't contain oxygen therefore it is suitable for anaerobic respiration.
chlorplast contain thylakoids unlike mitochondria
In fast twitch muscles.Aerobic respiration occurs in the mitochondria.
No,head contain nucleus and lysosome. The mid part contain mitochondria.
Through anaerobic respiration. It does not need oxygen
Yes they have. They have 70s ribosomes and circular DNA
