You should begin CPR as soon as possible once you have confirmed the casualty is unconscious and not breathing.

The longer the casualty waits without CPR being performed, the less oxygen is being transported around the body - and most importantly to the brain.

When you realize that someone is unresponsive and not breathing would be the #1 answer but anytime you think someone should see a doctor NOW (possibly life threatening condition) call 911.

Many people entire denial mode about things they know should be checked out by a doctor because they are afraid of hearing something bad. When in doubt, Check it out & Better to Know than Guess and be wrong!

Everyone should know the warning signs of a heart attack and stroke but sometimes victims only show partial signs and symptoms that get confused as something else - nausea for instance is a symptom of at least half a dozen conditions.
