Upgrade your house and then go and talk to him again and he'll tell you a story about the sprites and Harvest Goddess. Next he tells you to go and talk to Dale. To get the right half, you talk to Dale (the carpenter) and he will tell you about the broken clock tower in the town square. After that, you talk to Hamilton and you ask him about the clock tower. Then you offer to fix it and he will give you the key. You go over to the clock tower in the Town Square and open it up. Inside you find the right half of the quilt and a note from Alan ( I think ). Then you take your watering can and water the flowers under the certain trees.
