When breeding, let the male fall off of the female about 2-3 times, and take him out. If you want a larger litter, put him back in 24-48 hours later and let him fall 2 or 3 more times before taking him out again.

i think its best to keep them separate maybe put the male in a separate cage .but so they can see each other so the female knows hes around which will keep her safe but not stressed. they also like to be some where warm with blenty of fresh bedding in the dard too !!!! good luck
yes. the gestation for a doe is 28-32 days. so around day 20 the male should be out. he can reimpregnant the female the same day she gives birth. and babies become mature at 10 weeks he can impregnant the females at that time. after the babies are born you can introduce daddy to them. he will "pick on" and play with the boys-not a way to sex babies tho! i took my male out and put the cages next to each other. mommy and daddy snuggled thru cages and daddy was interested and talking with the babies.
The male rabbit should NEVER be in the female rabbit's cage. You should take the female to the males cage and return her to her own cage as soon as mating occurs. (usually in less than 2 minutes.)

They will always accept them but not nescessarily want to mate at that point in time. They usually run away from the male and make a very loud grunt like a wild hog. If your female rabbit is running away from the male but you want them to mate do not hold her down as this will cause her to bite you as it JUST happend to me about an hour ago...
normally if a buck( male rabbit) goes into a does (female rabbit) hole it is most likely trying to mate with it.
