Comparative adjectives mean more. They almost always end in -er. Examples - better bigger taller smaller easier harder worse. Superlatives mean most. They almost always end in -est. Examples - best biggest tallest smallest easiest hardest worst.
Comparative is a comparison between items, products, companies, etc. For example comparative profits would compare two or more sets of profit numbers.

Superlative relates to something being superior. "Apple is the best computer company out there" is a superlative statement.

An adjective is a describing word, such as beautiful, ugly, yellow, and short. A comparative adjective is a word that is used to show some sort of comparison between one thing and another. Some comparative adjectives are formed by adding the suffix -er to the adjective, and others are formed by using the word more.

Examples:

Red flowers are beautiful. Some people think that purple flowers are more beautiful than red flowers. (compares red flowers to purple ones)

That house is ugly, but the house next to it is uglier. (compares one ugly house to another)

A comparative (note the spelling) adjective is one that compares one noun or pronoun with another and describes the difference between them. It usually ends in '-er', or takes the word 'more' in front of the adjective.

Examples:

'This dog is fiercer than that one.'

'My house is smaller than yours.'

'Mondays are always busier at work than Fridays.'

'Peter is more organized than his wife in the office.'

'Jane is older than I, but I am more sophisticated.'

Literally it means to compare...the positive degree is used to denote the fact..the comparative is used to compare the fact between two...and the superlative is used to compare it between many and denote it the highest.

The correct spelling is comparative instead of comparative. A comparative adjectives is an adjective that is used to compare two nouns. The word "than" is often used with a comparative adjective. Taller, happier, and sadder are comparative adjectives.

it is when you compare two thing use worse worser and words like that.

example- Jane's house is cheaper than mine.

cheaper is the comparative adjective. :)

For adjectives with one syllable ad -er: big - bigger, fast - faster

For adjectives with two syllables and ending in -y add -ier: sunny - sunnier

For longer adjectives use more: expensive - more expensive.

There are some irregular verb for example:

good - better (not gooder), bad - worse (not badder)
