Heres an example: There are a lot of people with hats, in fact, there are 500 people with hats. Its kind of like a replacement for the phrase "did you know". Lets try it out! This information following is not true. Many people were born on the day January 5th. Did you know 1,400 people were born on that day? Now using in fact... In fact, 1,400 peoplw were born on that day.

BTW: in fact is not a word, its a phrase
