On Christmas day is the day that you traditionally open your gifts.
Christmas is the day where people are happy... and it's the day when I, and most other people open gifts.

It depends how many people there are in the family. If there are 5 people or less, they open it all at the same time. If there are 6 people or more who have gifts to open, then It usually starts with the youngest member, possibly the oldest if the family likes to change things up once in a while.
