60,000 miles
Echo and Yaris have chains, no need to replace unless there is a problem, they have been known to last over 400,000 miles.
The Toyota Corolla is equipped with a timing belt. Whether the need for a timing belt replacement is dependent upon many different factors. If the engine is not running at all you probably will need a timing belt.
I have a 2006 Toyota highlander hybrid, do I need to change timing belt or chain?
How do you change a timing belt on a 1998 Toyota Tacoma? And what part do I need to buy?
Toyota Camry 1998 has a timing belt.
2003 Toyota Camry 2.4L does NOT have a timing belt. It does have a Timing chain which DOES NOT need to be replaced.
If your timing belt light is on in your Toyota Land Cruiser then you need to take it to get serviced. The light could be warning you about a problem with the belt.
Not unless they are damaged or faulty.
Its a chain drive so no need to worry about anything related to timing belt ;) Cheers
No, it has a timing chain and does not need tp be changed.
Toyota Echos have a timing chain rather than a timing belt so there is no need to change it.
The 2003 and 2004 Toyota Corolla has a timing chain. In my opinion, all car engines should have a chain and not a belt. Timing belts create the need for expensive belt replacements and can sometimes damage your engine if the belt breaks
