maybe they sleep at night...
They often do but will also close them on occasion.
Rabbits are very gentle and friendly animals who love affection as well as exercise. Relaxing petting, around the ears, will eventually make your rabbit fall to sleep. If you are thinking your rabbit won't sleep because its eyes are open, rabbits sleep their eyes open! To tell if your rabbit is asleep look at his nose, if it is barley moving he is likely to be asleep, also, deep breaths that are really obvious show that the rabbit is close to falling asleep. Hope I helped
The rabbit does not sleep for long periods at one time. Throughout the day and evening a rabbit will sleep in intervals spanning 6 to 8 hours.
I do. Never had any problems yet. Just got to make sure you have the room for their cage which is pretty big, and that you keep on top of cage cleaning and rabbit proofed the room for their outside time. If you're a light sleeper you may not want to though because while they're not the noisiest pets, they do move about their cage and eat hay and such which does. In other words; if you're diligent with the maintenance, have a big enough room, and sleep soundly. Then yes, you can keep rabbits in your bedroom.
Your new mother rabbit will sleep just not a whole lot because of her new young ones. She is just trying to be protactive of them nothing to worry about.
Yes. If it falls asleep while you are holding it then it feels very safe with you.
if you don't want your rabbit anymore you may sell the pet at a pet store or put it to sleep. if some people feel its confidant (meaning the rabbit) you can set it into the wild.
Rabbits have a unique sleep pattern called polyphasic sleep, which means they sleep in short bursts throughout the day and night. They have an instinct to be alert and attentive, so they have periods of light sleep where they can easily wake up. Even though you may not see your rabbit sleeping, it is likely getting plenty of rest in these short intervals.
Baby rabbits should be left alone to sleep as they want to.
Give it a carrot and some water and ask people round your street if they have a lost rabbit and describe the rabbit you've found if not put up posters and ask your local vet if he/she recognizes the rabbit. Make sure you have told a adult and if the owner does turn up in the first day find someone sheltered and safe for the rabbit to sleep. Hope I Helped :)
