Growlithe evolves when you use a Fire Stone on it.
Growlithe does not have a pre-evolved form but to evolve it into an Arcanine, use a fire stone.
Eevee and Growlithe Eevee, Growlithe, Ninetales pre-evolved form and slugma (I'm not sure bout Slugma).
Growlithe does not learn Extremespeed, only its evolved form, Arcanine, learns Extremespeed at level 49. Note that this is the same level that Growlithe learns flamethrower, which Arcanine can only learn through a TM, so if you want both Extremespeed and Flamethrower, evolve Growlithe at level 49. It was once thought to be legendary, but then it was pronounced not to be. It is rare though, because you can only get growlithe on certain games like FireRed and HeartGold. You can't get Arcanine directly, it has to be evolved using a firestone on Growlithe. You can't get Growlithe on Emerald, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum or SoulSilver.
Eevee into Flareon, Vulpix into Ninetales and Growlithe into Arcanine. Also Pansear into Simisear.
Arcanine is the evolved form of Growlithe. Neither of them can be caught in the wild on Leaf Green. Growlithe is a Pokemon Fire Red exclusive pokemon. To be able to evolve it, give it a Fire Stone and then trade it to your Leaf Green game.
Eevee, growlithe and vulpix were the only Pokémon that evolved using a fire stone before the unova region.
no because they learn moves on diffrent levels so you would ethier have to keep the growlithe and hope it learns it soon or get the arcanine and wait to learn it hope i helped
growlithe is in route 36,37,48

Unfortunately, you cannot. The only way to get a charmander in Emerald is to trade with another player. However, I do recomend captureing a Growlithe, since its evolved form is slightly more powerful than charizard. (By 25 in base stat average) And Growlithe is obtainable in Emerald version, unlike charmander.
I think it is only growlithe and arcinine.
