One way is to buy an XP boost. Complete the part of your adventure that grants you your own Book of Lore. Then show it to the red moglin on the first page you come to(right outside of Battaleon town). He will then allow you to open a Store tab to buy the XP boost. AQW has many servers, if all of them are down they are probably implementing a new update to them and I suggest you simply wait and come back at a later time to see if they're back up again.
