it depends on how it is taken, if it is taken as a 'joint' IE smoked then it is almost instantly in your blood stream, however if it is eaten then it takes roughly two hours to get into your blood stream but the high lasts longer. i found this out on a bbc programme called 'How drugs work:cannabis' if you want to learn deeper maybe you should check it out.
