When does the '7-year' reporting begin and end is it when the account was opened closed or some other time?

The 7 year reporting period is measured from the "date of last activity." However, if the account is in good standing, it is legal for it to remain on your report for up to 10 years. Collections and P&L's, Foreclosures, and Repossessions are different - they stay on for 7 years from the "date of original delinquincy." If you need explaination, just e-mail me!
