apparently it will come at aound the 20th December or the 23rd at latest.
The runescape Christmas event will start between Dec-17 and Dec-19. There is a complete guide for the event with walkthrough and pictures in this website, http://runescape-quest.info/runescape-Christmas-event-2008-2009-guide-and-help-with-wiki/
it starts December 18th 2009 the event allways start a week before the real holiday
Have patience, it's not Christmas yet. And by the way, I don't know.
This event has already been and gone.
The 2009 Christmas event is a holiday event planned by Jagex. It will be released on or before 23 December 2009. It was announced in the update "Christmas Cards and Blog" and in the developer blog "Holiday Event: A Christmas Warble". In conjunction with the announcement and the release of the blog, three Christmas cards were released in the website. The event was developed mainly in September and October of 2009. It is the first project developed by Mod Edam. A new particles graphics effect will be added in the form of snow. It is the first place that players will see this in RuneScape. Mod Ajd has said that the Christmas event will be better than last year's, but Jagex will "leave the players to decide that one." Picture of event can be found by clicking on the link below: It started in the morning, around 6:30AM-7:00AM PST. Find the cupboard all over RuneScape, (For sure: Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador)
all of the largly celebrated holidays Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter all have an event that start about 2 weeks before the actual holiday and end about 2 weeks after the holiday itself has past.
There is the proper one, from the start of destert treasure after you get the ring of visibility. Then the other one for the Christmas event you have to make by finding things around the house ground floor.
Unfortunately for both you and me, the Easter Eggs came a couple of years ago for a Easter Event and once they come around, they can't come around again. :( But luckily we have three events coming up in the next three months. The Halloween event which will start this week at sometime, the Thanksgiving event, which will start sometime in November, and the Christmas event.
The Halloween events usually start approximately one week before the Holiday. Same with Thanksgiving and Christmas.Keep an eye out on Runescape for the event...
Read the news post about it properly, and it will tell you what to do.
The 2009 one has already started.
To my knowledge it starts either a week before Christmas or the week OF Christmas, and usually goes on for about a week after Christmas
