In late February (around the 24th) you will notice your tree leaves turn from reddish-brown to green, but still have snow on them. This is a precursor to the snow melting during the first week of March and the beginning of the spring insects appearing (common butterflies, yellow butterflies, and tiger butterflies...)
Note: You will get a letter from your 'Mom' in your mailbox on the first day of AC Spring (I believe my turnover date was March 4th) that has a Doctor's Mask accessory in it and says something like "Spring is the air..." and is a joke about Allergies.
