I talked to Obert 2 months ago and he said he's not far from being done with book 4 but in my opinion I don't believe it will come out for some time. Possibly this could be because he wants to space his books out evenly rather than having the first three come out every year or so and then having a 4th book come out several months after. On Amazon.com they have the release date set for September 30, 2008.
