No, I don't think so but in some cases they cut off the tail because there's an infection and they don't want the infection to spread. With Collie and Aussies they cut off the tail when they are born. Also some dogs are born with short tails. But I personally think that you can ask your vet; he/she would be very happy to answer.
Usually a Veterinarian will dispose of the amputated tails.
The tails are incinerated.
Never, that's inhumane
do you have to cut the tails off pigs?
Sassy was the one who cut off the tails horses because of her family
No. I have a pet boxer who had puppies, and they are actually born with really long tails. Humans cut their tails off, and I don't know why.
Cats who have no tails can still twist about and land on their feet. There are cats who are born without tails, and cats who get their tails caught and cut off, and they can do it. But if the cat had a tail that is just fine, don't cut it off.
First, cut off 1 tail and 2 replace it. Next, cut off 2 tails and a head grows in. Then, cut off 2 heads and then 2 more and then there are no heads but 2 tails. After that, cut off 1 tail and 2 replace it. Next, chop off 2 tails and a new head grows in. Then, cut off 1 tail and 2 replace it. After that, chop off 2 tails and a head grows. Finally, cut off your last 2 heads and you are left with nothing but a dead drogon.
it is healthier for the animal

All dogs are born with tails. (Except in special circumstances) The stumps that you see are from cropping, or cutting of the tail when the dog is a puppy. It is believed to give the dog a better look.
