When downloaded addon questhelper it does not show up in the addons menu in the wow game is there a fix for this?

Most likely this is an "old" version of QuestHelper - WoW thinks it is old, when it's the most up to date. There is a setting in the addons dialog window, "Load out of date add-ons" - click this but beware, you are increasing your chance of having problems.
