DNA replication occurs during the S stage of interphase.
Interphase is the stage between two mitotic or meiotic divisions. It can be slpit into three stages:G1, S and G2.
During G1 (gap 1), cells grow and build up ATP on preparation for DNA replication.
During the S (synthesis) phase the DNA is replicated.
During the G2 phase the cell prepares itself for the process of cell division (mitosis or meiosis).
Mitosis is the process where DNA is replicated.
In the S phase. This phase is located after the G1 phase and before the G2 phase.
During what is called S phase. It is a sub-phase of interphase, just after G1 and before G2.
during the s phase in interphase.
Interphase. In the synthesis phase
interphase
DNA is replicated in the Synthesis stage of the cell cycle.
DNA is replicated during Interphase
DNA is replicated in the S phase; synthesis phase.
It is the main purpose of the cell cycle, to replicate the cell. the DNA is replicated, along with everything else, to form a new identical cell.
:Before the cell divition cell needs to double its genetic meterial then the DNA is replicated.;
DNA is replicated in the Synthesis stage of the cell cycle.
S
DNA is replicated during Interphase
This is the phase in which DNA is replicated.
G2 phase
DNA is replicated in the S phase; synthesis phase.
During the S (synthesis) stage - after G1 and before G2.
Interphase
There is no DNA of mitosis. Before mitosis, the DNA must be replicated, which occurs during interphase of the cell cycle.
The cell's DNA is replicated during interphase.
The S in the cell cycle means synthesis and refers to the synthesis of DNA in the process of DNA replication. Please refer to the Related Links for an excellent website on cells.
