You can take your GRE exam whenever you want according to your availability and convenience.
For GRE coaching, there are many institutes. You need to check on the facilities they give along with their previous record. I opted for Climb First. It has a 24 hr library and study centre. The library has all kinds of GRE books. Don't think any other class provides this. The teaching is good too with an excellent experienced faculty. The personal attention being givn to me is something i haven't got from any class, be it 12th, or engineering. And they provide with application assistance too, SOP, LOR, scholarship, etc. They have 8 centres in Mumbai and more coming up.
Their website is www.climbfirst.org
Also check www.greindiaportal.com for free GRE resources.
the usual center is at marwah house, saki vihar road, saki naka, andheri west, mumbai.
