Apart from the fact that you're not supposed to disturb your hamster when it's sleeping or eating, normally a hamster would bite if you did that. It might be that your hamster is simply not aggressive at all, or on the other hand it could be that it's too weak to defend itself because it's ill. It would be best to take the hamster to the vet's just in case to see there's nothing wrong with it.
It could be that it has hidden food and eats when you are asleep.
If you hamster isn't eating then it means it's ill. Take it to the vet and say that your hamster isn't eating.

Most of the time hamster constipation is from eating to much fruit or vegetables
By sleeping and eating
Play with it, don't disturb it while sleeping/eating. Every time you take it out give it a piece of food, then they will see that they get a little treat each time it allows you to take him/her out and it will learn that it is ok to be by you.

Don't do anything, because the reason why the hamster is even eating the baby is because it is scared the baby will not live in the environment it is in, while your hamster is "eating" her baby, stay away from it so it doesn't get mad or freaked out. Don't worry,, it is normal for your hamster to be eating its baby, mine ate hers.ANSWER:_DON'T_WORRY,_DONT_DO_ANYTHING,_hope_i_helped:)">ANSWER: DON'T WORRY, DONT DO ANYTHING, hope i helped:)DONT DO ANYTHING OR THE HAMSTER WILL GET SCARED AND (it might get bloody in that cage)
